 by Henry Livingston

"Evil had a name once and then It changed its name without telling anyone what the new one was and for that even the gods are unsure of his where-a-bouts. The Nameless Shadow as he was later dubbed by his followers, is the epitome of an enemy of anything good. He hates the gods that Atheradarastrix created and curses them all... which is weird because he too was created by the Dragon God Atheradarastrix ... ... okay - okay - I know... here's the Tale."

The Nameless Shadow for all intended purposes is, amongst the Abilain Gods, was birthed from the very source of evil and is noted as being the quintessential paragon of evil. Every 1000 years evil reproduces this way, as does purity (or good), and Its offspring continues until It is vanquished or It conquers all. On Abilai there is one that is one left, the Nameless Shadow, and he has reinforced his future by using the newly created offspring and loyal followers of his darkness to strengthen his return and his unconditional victory over all on Abilai.

At one point It had a name (Kalaidus) and an identity (God of Anarchy), It stood tall and challenged Panthe and any other god that moved into his path openly, then declared war against them when It thought the timing was perfect to do so. It took every god fighting with everything they had to stop his onslaught, but it was Kami and her trickery that defeated it. As for Its allies, Fetorela (God of Destruction), Ca'lurre' (Goddess of Death) and Sumatrae (God of Silence), they chose to remain loyal to Panthe, and it was their treachery that sealed the crypt to Its downfall.

It is said that as It lay dieing, it realized its mistakes. It realized that It could not stand and defeat the combined might of the other gods directly, and that It could not trust Its evil brethren. In a risky gamble, it stripped itself of all identity and disappeared into the nothingness beyond.
It was eventually forgotten, even by the gods and so it began to plot. It gathered followers through a well conditioned pawn named Selinasse (Demigoddess of Darkness ), putting its plan into motion. Methodically, It started weakening the worshippers of the Pantheons, thus indirectly weakening the gods themselves.

The Eight Storms of Power all inadvertently are unwritten followers of the Nameless Shadow.
However, Its attempt to destroy the Kingdom of Crowe Haven through Serrif Quetimare', a Drow Rogue/Wizard, that It helped fool many into believing that she was Muunara (Goddess of Justice), proved to be too weak to complete the task given her. The failure has not settled well with the Nameless Shadow and It still plots to ensure the destruction 'of Crowe Haven (Also, City of Power) and its Paladins. Because of its place on the world of Abilai, Crowe Haven sits above the Pinnacle of Power. This Pinnacle is the raw source of all magic on Abilai and for those who know how to tap into this energy conquering the planet is just a matter of time. Crowe Haven must fall or this could pose a threat in Its triumph over all of Abilai.

Whitecrest is the other city that must cease to exist, especially the White paladin of Whitecrest. The White Paladin is the perfect opposite of those birthed from evil, for he or she is birthed from purity, quintessentially a paragon of goodness. He and the other newly knighted Storms of Power also seem to be a flaw in Its perfect take-over.

Written lllumian text depicts that Selinasse's Shadow Mages will be the downfall or conversion of the Hidden Houses of Ortoria and their Cloaked Society. Also, that It's Army will be formed during that
time as well.

Continuing with Illumian Lore, there is repeated mention of a loyal Lieutenant, back when it had an identity, who was imprisoned on the Sub-continent of Masahyna. Who waits to be awakened by yet another pawn in the Nameless Shadows' plan and assume his position as Second-in-command. Mirgol (God of Corruption), as he is namely written, will rule all of the Sub-continent. His mission without prejudice is to turn Masahyna and all of its inhabitants into Its Dark Army. This Army will serve only to distract and weaken the Pantheon of gods long enough for It to gather Its strength in the outer Realms and attack them when they are at their most venerable. Reiterating Its Dominion over any and all Gods of Darkness, It will lead their combined Armies to crush the opposing United Armies of the Pantheons of Integrity, Detachment, Rule and Harmony.

Loyal pawns known as Crimson Vipers will become General's of Its Army of Destruction. They will sew Chaos against all the Major Kingdoms of Abilai and birth a second Army on the Continent of Dargala. This Army will bring their multitudes to their next biggest adversary, Whitecrest, and finally both Armies, one from marching from Whitecrest, the other from Masahyna, which at this time has consumed all of Ortoria will attack Crowe Haven from both sides and crush the hopes of any imperfection in Its plan to Rule Abilai.
